Community Life

Our desire is to be a community that grows towards one another as we grow in our relationship with Christ, and we pursue this by going to God’s Word together, praying with and for one another, and through regular fellowship. 

Here are some of our regular ministries and fellowship opportunities. We invite you to get involved by joining us for a Sunday morning, coming to one of our upcoming events, or joining a small group.

CPC Women’s Ministry is committed to discipling women in their walk with the Lord and creating authentic and encouraging relationships between the women of CPC. This is accomplished through weekly bible studies, frequent ladies nights and women's retreats.
We currently have regularly scheduled Wednesday women's bible studies in the Fall and Spring:
- Morning study from 9:30 am to 11 pm.
- Evening study 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

CPC Men’s Ministry is committed to discipling the men of CPC in their walk with the Lord and building them up for service in God's Kingdom. This is accomplished through weekly bible studies and men's fellowship nights.
We currently have regularly scheduled Wednesday men's bible studies in the Fall and Spring:
- Evening study 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

CPC is home to many Covenant Kid's and it is our greatest joy to disciple them during their most formative years. We do not believe in handing our kids off to volunteers but instead desire that the whole church body would come alongside our kids and love them in the Lord.
We do this through youth focused fellowship, providing opportunities for the youth to serve inside the church, and involving our youth with missions and outreach.

To ensure the safety of our Covenant Kid's, we require background checks and training for all volunteers.

We have a large and lively worship team that blesses our church with wonderful music each week. If you are interested in serving on the music team or simply want to find out more, please reach out to Drew Archer drew@cpcnewnan.com

Every second Wednesday of the school year we enjoy coming together as a church family at "Large Group". This is a church-wide fellowship for all ages and a time for the CPC family to enjoy spending time with one another.
- Dinner is provided
- Topical teaching and discussion time
- A time of prayer
- Games and a Lesson for our Youth
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 PM

We have multiple small groups that meet every second Sunday during the school year at the homes of several CPC members. These groups provide an opportunity to build a more intimate community within the family at CPC and our hope is that the fellowship will be an encouragement for all those involved.

We come together at least once a month for a church-wide fellowship luncheon.  These are often after-church potlucks, but also include seasonal afternoon events like our Christmas Party and Easter Egg Hunt.

It's a great time to enjoy food and fellowship as a family!
